Winter Work Parties
We welcome anyone who would like to get involved, regardless of experience or ability. There is no pressure to meet targets, and everyone is encouraged to work at a pace that suits them. Children under sixteen are welcome but must be accompanied by a parent or responsible adult. Unfortunately, dogs are not permitted on any work party activities.
Our winter work parties will mainly involve scrub removal and regeneration using hand tools such as bowsaws and loppers to remove invasive plants and promote areas of grassland and bare ground to benefit invertebrates.
All tools and training will be provided, please wear appropriate footwear and warm, waterproof clothing and bring drinks and snacks. We will meet at the top of mill lane at 09:00 on the first Sunday of each month.
